Review of Road Trip (2000) by Michelle C — 26 Aug 2009
One of the many teen comedies that popped up in the wake of American Pie which sees Breckin Meyer (who?) drag his eccentric buddies on a road trip from New York to Texas to prevent a saucy videotape from falling into the hands of his girlfriend.
Of course nothing goes to plan and hilarity ensues... well, a few chuckles and a job lot of duds ensue but you get the point. No, most of the gags aren't really that funny and way, way too much attention is given to Tom Green but there are a couple of good'uns and most of the performances are pretty good, including Seann William Scott who in a shocking display of indifference towards the perils of typecasting is basically playing Stifler.
