Review of Road to Saddle River (1994) by Lafe F — 23 Aug 2007
A quirky journey across Canada with a bunch of characters seeking answers to their emptiness, which can hopefully be filled at Saddle River. It's a Trans-Canada version of the Wizard of Oz? A shy immigrant man wants be a cowboy.
He teams up with some strange characters. They have misadventures along the way; and we see great Canadian scenery. It's a charming and meditative movie. The "Home on the Range" finale is quite peaceful.
This needs a DVD release.
