Review of Road to Perdition (2002) by Sara C — 02 Dec 2010

Road to Perdition is good - but not as great as some critics made it out to be. Comparisons of this film to classics as far as the Godfather are extremely superficial; in reality, this film is predictable and in places can't avoid cliche.

There's some good acting from the excellent cast, and some scenes show outstanding direction from Sam Mendes; but as a whole it's still heavily overrated.
