Review of Road to Perdition (2002) by Blake B — 07 Dec 2011
Road to Perdition is a mob movie that takes place during the 1920', the time when the mafia was selling bootlegged alcohol.
Now I normally don't like mobster movies, but this was too good. Tom Hanks was brilliant as Mike Sullivan, and Daniel Craig was a really cool villain. Hell, even Jude Law was really good.
The main part though is the chemistry between Mike Sullivan and his son. I was actually believing that the kid was Tom Hanks' real son. Definitely my favorite movie starring Tom Hanks, and my favorite mobster/gangster film.
This weekend is gonna be awesome. Got HBO, and I'm finally gonna watch the Dollar Trilogy. Can't wait.
