Review of Road to Perdition (2002) by Robyn M — 28 Apr 2012
Sam Mendes and Conrad Hall created a marvellous concoation of Visually stunning imagery by manipulating special hues and lighting hence creating the most perfect Dark setting in a film.
The Road to Perdition for me was more then just a film, it's something i've been longing to understand for a very long time. What stopped me the first time around is I wasn't fully prepared for a drama that was dark and rich with a complex storyline. But given a second chance, I understood all the energy and effort put forth. This is an incredible work of art. Something that will leave a lasting final impression of Paul Newman and his contribution on how we've evolved with Making history at the movies. He will be greatly missed.
