Review of Road House (1989) by Corey N — 02 Dec 2009
A classic 80's film. Stars Patrick Swayze as a bouncer hired to work in a small town bar. Of course he butts head with the richest man in town who thinks he can bully and control everyone in it. This movie is full of fights, violence, sex, bad dialogue and rock and blues music.
Sort of a movie geared for men. Overall this is just one of those brainless fun movies. Patrick Swayze is great as the lead in this. A great tough guy for this movie. You even get the late Jeff Healy and his band as the house band in this.
With a solid enough story and decent suppoting cast makes for a alright movie. Worth a watch for Swayze fans.
