Review of Road House (1989) by Jeffry J — 25 Jan 2011
One of my all-time favorite guilty pleasure movies, ie, films you know are bad but you love them anyway. This movie borders on ridiculous - in what reality does a story like this exist? It's a western, the single man who comes into town, cleans things up and faces off against the big bad guy even when the townspeople don't - that is, until they finally do - except it is set in a bar in late 80s Kansas.
Plenty of gratuitous T & A and bloody violence, and it gets more ridiculous as it goes along - and I love every minute of it!
