Review of Road Hard (2015) by Alex D — 12 Mar 2015

I was highly anticipating this film as I am a fan of Ace Man. "The Hammer" was such a good movie, I though Carolla's second chance at making a film would top the first. However, this film was really hard to watch.

I expected so much more. The jokes in this film were not that funny. I almost think that he was trying to appeal to a family audience by how tame they were compared to the content that I am used to from Carolla.

I also thought his acting just wasn't believable. He had a really great supporting cast of comedians that I don't feel were utilized to the potential they could have been. The funniest comedian appearance in the film happened to be Steve Hostetter's 15 second part.

I guess I set my expectations a little to high on this one and came away disappointed. After watching Adam Carolla's sophomore effort in film-making, it makes me wish he would have got held back as a freshman.
