Poor Adam. The funny stuff was the stuff I haven't heard yet. What KILLED the movie for ME was the same "jokes" (Adamisiums) I've heard for YEARS. Com'on save some of your good stuff for my $10.50 I pay to get in the movie for.

Then theres the story line. The reason I like Adam so much is because he DID "make it". I had the feeling that "Ohhhh Adam would much rather be in Vermont doing wood work than entertaining me?" That was the FIRST thought, fucked up over personalized, so generally THAT bummed me out BEFORE I got to thinking through the idea of the plot. IF it were played by someone OTHER than Adam, who I did't give a shit about, and he was living happily ever after in a wonderful new life then there would have been a viable disconnect that would have allowed me to get into the plot.

Kinda weird to see his real life house(s) in the movie, but guess thats my fault for knowing too much about him.

Directing was GREAT! Loved the aerial shots. Obscure musical choices. I've NEVER liked DAG. On his pod cast Adam said Larry does a great Baby Doll. I just saw Larry dong Larry...in a wig.

Adam doesn't have to do movies for me to enjoy his wonderful mind. IF he DOES do another movie I would hope he'd keep all the jokes to himself before the movie airs. The podcasts are podcasts, and the movies are movies.

Maybe if he had less "yes men" and a couple "No men" this could have been a funnier movie, instead it was a good story line, with good actors, reciting recycled dialog.
