Sadly, expectedly disappointing. I was hoping for something more, but it was just a movie written around already tired bits. Carolla was distractingly stiff too. The rest of the performances were good, the story was good, and the movie well made overall, but that wasn't enough to overcome the drawbacks.
No need to watch it, even for Adam Carolla fans. It's probably exactly what you are worried it is.
