Review of Road Hard (2015) by Dan D — 06 Apr 2015

To be honest, I am a pretty big fan of Adam Carolla's podcast. This film definitely doesn't hit every desired attempt it makes, but I still found myself enjoying his film. Maybe it is because I am a fan, but there is some great dialogue and Carolla's character has some great depth and development.

I would like to have seen more in terms of prominent side characters. Larry Miller was decent, but when you have David Allen Grier in the cast as well as a who's who of others (Jay Mohr), I think more could have been done. DAG is seen mostly at the same diner every scene, Mohr is in one real scene and I feel these characters could have appeared more to help the movie flow.

Overall, I say "Road Hard" is a funny as hell movie that had some difficulty with its flow being too segmented, but I recommend a viewing.
