Rewatched this film last night and have to dip the rating down a bit. I loved this film when it first came out...but on a second, much later, viewing of it...I can see that it is not a great film. It has a good story and good characters but isn't the stuff cinema dreams are made of.
Keanu Reeves was rather hot back then...I can see why I was so obsessed with him as a teen and in my early 20s. It's when his "dude" personality fit him before The Matrix happened. Definitely worth a viewing because it is a reflection of the times in which it was made and has a great cast.
