Risky Business is a fun film for the teens to watch but has its slip-ups.

Acting - 7/10.

The acting in this film is pretty good with the two stars(Tom Cruise and Rebecca De Mornay). Tom Cruise as a nerd really does make me laugh and he really does show off his dark side when he goes from worrywart Joel to enterpanural pimp in about an hour. De Mornay was good as Lana the call girl who slowly starts to reveal her love to Joel. Pantoliano is decent at best with Guido the killer pimp. But the other cast memebers; Joel's friends and parents are just blah and bring nothing to the table.

Story - 8/10.

The story is the epitome of the coming-of-age comedy. Joel Goodson(Tom Cruise) is a worry-wart of a high schooler who is trying his best to attend the alma mater of his father Princeton. When hi parents go away for a week the following occurs; he meets a call girl Lana(Rebecca De Mornay), gets attacked by Guido the killer pimp, gets his father's porsche in the river, makes his house into a brothel, attacks the school nurse, gets suspended from school, and gets laid while traveliong around chicago. Great story but the transition of tame Joel to person who doesn't give a f*** I a bit uncredible and a little fake but Cruise plays that part well.

Script -8/10.

The script is funny and filled with humor. Also, it completely does show the true stress of what some if not many high schoolers go through at senior year before they head off to college. Its just a fun filled ride that I personally do find myself enjoying it, and laughing till the very end. One flaw however, is the transition that I mentioned above. Nuff' said.

Originality - 7/10.

The originality is not well the way to put it is that it wasn't all that originally. Parents leave teen home alone, boy does everything the kid can't do when parents around, boy does something wrong, narrowly fixes up everything before parent get home and he lives happily ever after. but, the party and what he specifically does in this film is pretty good so that means.....

Entertainment - 10/10.

That the entertainment scores a 10/10. It really is just an all around fun movie to watch to ee what this kid goes through and how even the lamest kids know how to have a rockin time when his parents are all away.

Joel Goodson's fun filled week rates a 40/50 which is a straight 80%. It isn't as great as the t-meter rates it but it comes a bit close. Recommend you rent this film watch it with the girlfriend and see where it goes from ther. 'wink' 'wink'.

"Hi, my name is Joel Goodson. I work in Human Interactions. I grossed more than $8,000 dollars in one nigh. Pretty good for a kid like me right?" - Joel Goodson.
