Indeed a cult 80s teen movie with great OST (Tangerine Dream, Phil Collins, etc) & some enjoyable scenes. The plot is quite original & the storyline is well led. T. Cruise is really young but promise already a lot.
However the movie is too dedicated to teens & seems to take more & more ages and does not reflect enough a particular atmosphere as Ghostbusters or Top Gun do to remain quite attractive in the next years.
