A movie that is not just a movie, but a... message. You take a teenager that's close to graduation, constant pressures of perfection although given an open-box list of options. He makes his choice and has to pay for it. Brickman proves that you don't have to be perfect to be great.
A killer soundtrack doesn't hurt either. Tangerine Dream did their thing.
