This movie gave the horny teenage sex comedy genre a touch of class in 1983; it was clearly better made and better acted than other films in this genre. Young Tom Cruise provided one of the iconic moments in 1980's cinema when he danced around his parent's living room in his underwear and an unbuttoned shirt, wearing a pair of cool Ray Bans, and lip-sinking to a Bob Segar tune.
