Oh, what happens when the parents go on a consumer vacation and leave their only son, played by Tom Cruise at home. "Risky Business" is a classic with iconic scenes and for good reason. This is a movie that is not only entertaining but is a thoughtful satire of capitalism and its excesses.
Of course, the film is also a teenage loss of innocence type story that is an updated version of the 1960s "The Graduate"...and I mean that as a compliment.
