Review of Rising Sun (1993) by Jim M — 02 Oct 2008
Deceint murder mystery eluvated by the presence of Sean Connery. For the most part it follows Michael Crichtons novel but director Philip Kaufman pussied out in the end changing the identity of the killer and removing any criticsm of the Japanese, especially in regards to their business practices.
Not bad but would have been better if they'd been more faithful to Crichtons orginal point.
