Review of Rising Sun (1993) by Mike G — 15 Apr 2007
It goes on and on, but it's still not that bad. Sean Connery rules the picture and quietly dominates every scene he's in for the most part. The east meets west theme that runs through it is fairly interesting, but there's just too much plot twisting and footage in general for a movie of this type.
Philiip Kaufman is a good director, but he should have went with the "less is more" approach I think.
