Well done, well acted and respectful treatment of the famous story, with an exceptional turn by Jospeh Fiennes in the leading role. In the tradition of Ben Hur and The Robe, this is a story of Christ told through the eyes of a fictional character.
How much the second half of the film resonates with you may very well depend on your individual beliefs. There are far worse ways for you and your family to spend two hours (but older kids only, some of the imagery is intense).
