Review of Risen (2016) by Eddie P — 22 Feb 2016
With the exception of Passion of the Christ, I'm not a fan of Jesus movies as they always seem to get it wrong with the feel and tone. RISEN was a welcome exception and I found myself enjoying the movie quite a bit.
Solid performances and direction. I had a couple of minor quibbles but overall very pleased with this film.
