Much better than anticipated. Done in the spirit of Ben-Hur and The Robe great movies based on fictional characters in the period of the New Testament.
Fiennes was very convincing as a Roman Tribune and when things took a turn you could see & feel the conflict in his head and heart trying to grasp what happened.
Done in a style of a who done it.
Only thing that bothered me was the attitudes of the disciple, they acted like tripped out hippies but fortunately they do not act like that thru the entirety of the film.
Definitely worth the watch whether you believe in the resurrection or not.
