Much better than expected. Great casting call on using Maori Cliff Curtis as Yeshua who played the character realistically and actually looked like Yeshua probably looked (not the pale, blue-eyed goldilocks trying to feign some holy other-worldliness we usually get).
My only disappointment was the character of Mary Magdalene who was played as a prostitute [which she most certainly was not], instead of Yeshua's No. 1 disciple (and probably his wife). Other than that, the film was a valid effort, including his ascension at the end.
