Risen breaks the mold of so many biblical movies. Joseph Fieñnes has a significant part to do with this, but the cast is impressive as well. Not smarmy but still devout. Jesus himself is a true Semitic type, not Hollywood.
Best of all, it should force non believers to reflect on the Easter story.
