Review of Risen (2016) by Thecriticgod — 27 Mar 2016
Entertaining film and innovative in some way, most films about Christ just focus on his last days alive instead of the days following his resurrection and specially from a roman non-believer point of view who can't find a reasonable explanation to what he's seeing.
However it lacks action or intensive moments (like the one with the leper, the fishes, etc). Feels like a 20 minute movie elongated to match a standard movie timing, after you've finished the movie you instantly forget more than half of it because there was nothing going on. Still, innovative and interesting storyline and good acting.
