Fantastic movie which has very good emotional scenes and some other well filmed action scenes. All the plot is detailed and concise (eg his father's "problem" or his relationship with "her") when it needs to be.
It will thrill you, but it isn't as shocking as the 1968 film, probably because you know the ending if you have seen the aforementioned film.
