Review of Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011) by Brett H — 11 Jul 2014
Story.
A single act of both compassion and arrogance leads to a war unlike any other -- and to the Rise of the Planet of the Apes. The Oscar-winning visual effects team that brought to life the worlds of Avatar and Lord of the Rings is breaking new ground, creating a CGI ape that delivers a dramatic performance of unprecedented emotion and intelligence, and epic battles on which rest the upended destinies of man and primate.
Cast.
James Franco was really good in this movie.
The dad was good as well.
Tom Felton was a dick like in Harry Potter.
Andy Serkis as Caesar - Should have been nominated at the Oscars for best Supporting Actor he was just amazing.
The other apes were great like Rocket, Koba, Maurice.
The Visuals were great at the time.
I really like this movie alot the only negative was that some of the humans were stupid as hell.
Overall: This was good Re Reboot and 1st movie of a Trilogy.
Overall Grade: B+.
