With a strong cast and pretty good special effects, "Rise of the Planet of the Apes is a welcome and refreshing reboot to the series. Caesar (Andy Serkis) is an ape born in the testing labs. Adopted by Will (James Franco) he grows up in a human environment. But he soon learns he is no ordinary ape, and must unite his ape brethren to escape the soon to be dying human world.
With dazzling effects, strong characters, and a heartwarming story at it core, "Rise of the Planet of the Apes'' is a fresh awesome film that's sure to delight.
