Entertaining enough, but I think this series just isn't for me. They do a great job of creating a world before the inevitable Ape Planet that we all know, but I couldn't get into any of the characters or find any sense of intrigue that would warrant investing into a whole new series of films.

Great effects, but the acting seemed stale and unmotivated.
