Review of Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011) by Brandon O — 25 Mar 2015
This is my favourite in the rebooted franchise. I liked James Franco, lithgow, Cox and Oyelowo as ting wise and Serkis did great as Caesar. I liked the Alzheimer's subplot with Franco's dad, as it proved to be quite powerful and heart braking at times.
Very solid first movie to a well done, rebooted franchise.
