Review of Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011) by Nate Q — 25 Jan 2014

Groundbreaking, epic, and flat out amazing. First of, the GCI is top knotch in this one, the filmmakers really out did themselves with this one, the acting is great and no one else in the world can act the way Serkis does.

This also answers many of the questions that we I had from the first movie, so that's a win. Despite all that, it does have a few minor flaws though, for instance, the GCI was fantastic, but a tiny bit overused, they also could of made it eaiser to root for the apes, which I found myself not doing for some of the time, but not all of it.

To sum it, with all the amazing visuals and acting, this really is hard to turn away from.
