Review of Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011) by James K — 11 May 2015
When Caesar, standing on its hindlegs upright, spoke a resounding and firm "NO", the unmistaken chill told me this is truly what gave rise to The Planet of the Apes. It was as if a rather distant memory got aroused and started urging me to just get all the "Platnet of the Apes" related movies out to watch all of them in a painstaking marathon, knowing that not all of them were great.
All the genius apes left San Franscisco at the end of the film. That was a pity...I wanted more!
(Will find time to watch Dawn of POTA...making a mental note to self).
