Great first installment to what can become a great franchise. I didn't like this one as much as the sequel, but it was still very enjoyable. The story was unforgettable and the characters were loveable.
The acting and actors were awesome and the plot was creative. The movie did tend to get a little boring at times but the pace would pick back up. Great start to the series that any fans of the old Planet of the Apes movies will love.
