Rupert Wyatt must have written the book on how to reboot a classic franchise. Of course the Planet of the Apes were a series that overstayed their welcome back in the 60's and 70's but with Rise of the Planet of the Ape it looks like they have intentions to change that.
This film does not just rely on special effects as a lot of the original series did, there is a lot of substance to this film. It also makes you curious how the story will continue.
