Review of Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011) by Cole S — 12 Jul 2017

Loved this film, such a great way to kick off what many hope to be a trilogy. Great job giving the audience an intro (and a logical one at that) that shows how the Planet of the Apes has risen. Excited for the sequel and to see what more this "new" Caesar has in store for us humans.

James Franco does a great job playing Caesars guardian, giving a perfect mixture of kind and nurturing as well as a side to him in which the audience can't help but to feel bad for the ape, sending us back and forth between sides of human and ape.
