A neat and interesting prequel to a well known classic. A very well made action film with good realistic looking CGI apes. A story about how the apes somehow got smarter and how they practically have already taken over at least one central and populated area on the Earth (so far).
With their swift movements, aggressive behavior, and strong defenses and ideas, the apes seemed to have practically become smarter than the human being itself. The movements of the apes were very well done, especially thanks to Andy Serkis.
Ceaser was a very well designed CGI ape (as well as the other apes). A good start, a fairly well middle, and a triumphant end to the film. A very neat action cut and a good watch overall.
