My favourite film of the summer. "Rise" has it all. An engrossing drama, thrilling action, and heartbreaking emotion. The visual effects are seamless. The film does a wonderful job of providing not only a believable prequel but also a rivetting re-examination of the themes highlighted previously in the film series.
I highly recommend it.
