Review of Rise of the Guardians (2012) by Krissy M — 14 Jul 2013

I went to see this film with my 4 year old niece, and sitting in the theatre with my two adult sisters, we all agreed together before the movie had even started that it was probably not going to be very good at all, after all it was about Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy.

We were only there for my little niece, who despite our negativity and sure doubts about the film, was full of enthusiasm. HOWEVER, I was very surprised. I ended up thoroughly enjoying this film, and later when I found out it had "flopped" , I became actually pretty upset (which normally doesnt happen over stuff like this).

. . This movie was wonderful, and deserves and lot more recognition and publicity than what has been getting. BEAUTIFUL animation, lovable characters, and an engaging story line. It may not be the BEST animation film out there, but it is definitely worth watching, again and again!
