Review of Rise of the Guardians (2012) by Michael N — 03 Aug 2013

This movie was what ever little kid inside of us wanted it to be. It was a lot of fun watching this film watching our childhood hero's (including ones we weren't familiar with such as Jack Frost for me) and having them kick butt against Pitch (the boogeyman).

Anyways the plot of this movie was very classic and a great concept to bring these heroes together. I also liked how Peter Ramsey took his time to get characters developed enough so that we could get at least an idea of who everyone was.

This made me feel like he took the time to ensure that everyone is who he wants them to be as well as clarifying any questions about characters. Anyways the graphics were wonderful and even for a grown man I found myself having a hard time not watching.

Everyone should give this one a chance as it is a very good movie. I would even pay for a later weekend price and I would feel that I would still get my money's worth.
