Review of Rise of the Guardians (2012) by Deven W — 04 Sep 2013

This could have been a great family movie but it has problems. I didn't think it took itself really seriously, villain is clichéd but to be fair its the Boogeyman, poorly paced, and the designs on the human/children characters.

........awful. Also so many people look teary-eyed in this. And the voice work from Jude Law and Chris Pine are not horrible but you can tell their acting but at least they're trying. Ok what do I like about it I love the Guardians (especially a great performance by Alec Baldwin) who all have great designs, I love the colors, the backgrounds, and the message though botched a little.

All in all okay family film not great.
