Very moody, a bit slow, but still engrossing take on the vampire genre. These modern vamps have no fangs, but they are still dangerous, decadent, and thirsty. Lucy Liu's turning by Carla Gugino makes blood look sexy.

The stroy continuity likes to hop around a bit and this does tend to slow the momentum, but overall a movie that should be given a second look, especially in its uncut format.
