Ripley one of cinemas greatest sociopaths. I would one day like to see a buddy movie with him and Hannibal Lector, the two of them could discuss fine Italian art, buy old pianos and kill anyone who pissed them off.
Anyways in this film Dougray Scott describes Ripleys modest little mansion as garish and makes him a figure of fun at a dinner party. Wrong move Dougray.
Ripley takes the offence personally and makes Dougray go to Berlin murdering gangsters, cos thats how Ripley rolls. The man is awesome, he likes Peonys, Harpsichords and murder.
