A cop is murdered by his partner but to escape final judgement he must serve for the R.I.P.D (Rest In Peace Department), a supernatural police force protecting the living from the dead. Not exactly the most original movie out there & it's jumping on the recent band wagon of recreating comic books into films.
Originality is thrown right out the window & it's a feeling of dÃÂ (C)jÃÂ vu throughout as it's a complete rip off of Men in Black mixed with Ghostbusters. Thankfully, for me, I still found it entertaining with Jeff Bridges stealing the show as a Wild West sheriff.
