Review of R.I.P.D. (2013) by Imthenoob — 14 Oct 2013

For the supposed worst film of the year, It honestly wasn't that bad. I thought Bridges and Reynolds worked well together and as always Bacon makes for a good villain. Bits of comedy through out that were enjoyable. Yes it is sort of like Men In Black but it's far more action packed although not as well done. The biggest disappointment, for me, would be the special effects. For a film that has a 130 million dollar budget, I expected far better visuals, and the visuals in this film were rather disappointing, unconvincing, and poorly done.

Overall, R.I.P.D. certainly had it's weak spots but as a whole, The action and comedy certainly helped made it watch-able. Certainly worth renting in my opinion.
