Despite its audacious premise and style, Riot Girls feels at times underwritten, a few of the performances under-baked. Kwiatkowski and Iseman carry the film, but such a sprawling world is heavy lifting.
Nevertheless, Vuckovic ably showcases her fetchingly energetic aesthetic.
