The Howard Hawks formula perfected. A hero surrounds himself with a rag-tag group of misfits to battle the powerful bad guy. A truly classic western with "My Rifle, My Pony, and Me" thrown in for good measure.
I use this film in my high school English classes to teach the basics of plot and characterization. Brilliant film!
