Review of Rio Bravo (1959) by Will C — 06 Jul 2008
An interesting character-driven Western that has Wayne partnered with a drunk Dean Martin and a crippled Walter Brennan. A bit slow moving but the dialogue is well-written and John Wayne still showcases his incredible film persona.
Brennan also delivers a loveable performance as the incredulously quick-tongued Stumpy.
