Review of Rio Bravo (1959) by Matt D — 01 Mar 2009
This film is a pretty good example of why I usually hate Westerns. It lacks any particular "style", has incredibly cheesy moments and a love story that has NO PLACE in the film.
However, the actual plot of the film is interesting, and the characters are colorful (albeit stereotypical) and fun to watch (when they're not singing). This movie has big potential to be re-made into something great.
