Review of Rio Bravo (1959) by Stacy G — 10 May 2011
An okay movie. Typical John Wayne, nothing special like Searchers or True Grit. The story is kind of a really watered down crappy version of High Noon. The cast is fine, the movie just feels watered down and a safe star-studded affair.
Dean Martin is particular good. Ricky Nelson really only is in the movie for the teen appeal and a musical number. Okay western.
