Starring John Wayne, Dean Martin, Walter Brennan.
Dir. Howard Hawks.
Howard Hawks and John Wayne criticized Gary Cooper and Fred Zimmerman's High Noon, for timidness (in words of both) of character played by Cooper to go after townsmen and seek their help. I guess High Noon stands a masterpiece, and so does Rio Bravo, wonderful direction from Howard Hawks, and great performance from John Wayne, Dean Martin, Ricky Nelson, Walter Brennan. Rio Bravo has class of cinematography work done on it, art-direction, especially the inside of goal looked typically wonderful.
